It was several years ago while on a Whiteacres festival with Freddan i was first introduced to a guy who was turning his own PTFE bushes and selling his talents to the best anglers. In particular Steve Ringer had all his pole tops mounted in pure PTFE. I managed to try out a pole top and drew out the elastic , well ! , it just glided out so smoothly !
Well since then they have gone from strength to strength and now have a complete service for all your pole needs with Pole cones ,Kit cones and Bushes.
Give them a try , i certainly will as by protecting your pole now , your biggest match fishing investment can only benefit you in the long run plus adding value to your pole if you decide to sell.
