Absolute pleasure to be back with the Greenhill AC even if it is only for 3 weeks . But back in the fold i am and will now stay as i look forward in assisting the club in anyway i can in the future.
The match today is at the Holly Farm complex where i have previously brought Fredrik Andersson and Johan Tikkannen . Friendly place and always busy with 4 clubs fishing over 3 pools. Like so many commercial fisheries these days they provide breakfasts ,bait , tackle etc...

5 tops for the day of various elastications as i am unsure what target fish i can expect however i do know that the Carp are the main catch but what size will i expect to get ?
From my peg 44 to the left is a very nice over hanging willow tree , could be a winning peg ?
Got 14 m out of the GIS12 but i can get the other side on 13m
in the 3rd hour of the match i 'snagged' on the other side and started to pull away hoping for the rig to slide out the grass however my top-5 came off !! this just as i had taken 5 carp in quick time !!
So it was up to the office and a meeting with the owner 'Dell' and after 30 minutes they came to the rescue by bringing the boat down . (Young Dell collecting my top 5)

4th with 17-8 ooooo that lost top 5 cost me !
Great 2nd place of 19-12
The winner who had not got a fish in the first 3 hours then he put and extra section on and fished up to the willow tree ........27lb winner !
Time to pack up , end of my first and last GAC match of the year , no such luck next season !!
