Nash Apache 5 Speed Rod Holdall 12ft
I have been using the Nash Apache for 2 years now and it is an excellent piece of kit.
The massive storage capacity is ample room for all your kit.
It will take 5 rods tackled up and 3 rods un-tackled.
It was designed with the 3 rod set up in mind along with a tackled up spod rod and marker float rod. But obviously you could just have 5 “Carp rods” tackled up if you so wished.
The 2 side pockets are humongous and will accommodate your bivvy, pod (even the Fox sky pod will fit in the pocket with room to spare) banksticks, throwing stick, landing net, unhooking mat etc. I even put my sleeping bag in the large side pocket!!!
It is very well padded indeed and will certainly keep your precious rods safe whilst in transit.
The only bad point that I have found with this piece of kit is the plastic connections that join the shoulder strap to the holdall its self.
They are a bit flimsy considering the amount of kit you can get in the holdall.
I have replaced mine with steel ones to take the weight.
I also have 4 13ft carp rods that don’t fit in the holdall, but I have found that you can strap them to the outside of the holdall in rod bags. There are 2 straps on the outside that are ideal for the job.
All in all it’s a great rod bag and the best one I have used.
Score = 10/10
