I think I fish, in part, because it's an anti-social, bohemian business that, when gone about properly, puts you forever outside the mainstream culture without actually landing you in an institution. It's a nice position. No one considers you to be dangerous, but very little is expected of you.

I've tested "sloope slider" but i used it with two 3 hooks.
It swam really god but it didn't bellyflash as much as I wanted it to do so I think it's better as original.
If you look in the first number of Fiske Feber so can you se a picture of a big pike Buster Jensen caught on a Salmo Slider with a jig on the backhook.
He used a 12cm Perch slider with a purple (lila) twintail.Kommentera

Yea it had a real nice swimming action, the tail shortened the turn an glide, but if you ripped it you got a good degree of belly flash, i shall try it tonight with the sinking slider!!!! yesterday evening it just produced follows from perch on the floating model.Originally posted by MastaPike

Anyway..This is a good way to tease slow pikes to nibble a little on your lure..
Also a way to prevent hang ups if you are sloppy with your technique and let it turn too much..Kommentera
