Zander is next to impossible to catch on Sea baits and the main baits used are, Rudd / Sarv & Roach / Mört.

Problemet med nors brukar vara att det funkar inge vidare i vatten där den inte finns naturligt men makrillen funkar bra i de flesta vatten. Vill man smaksätta en nors eller mört så kan man köpa makrill olja och boostaDeluxe lures thats my work.

2) I do not agree that Smelt/Nors are any better in waters where they are indigenes. Here in England Nors is the most used general-purpose dead bait, together with Mackerel. Smelt is used extensively for bottom ledgering, float fished baits and sink and draw techniques.

Apart from the fact deadbaits catch large pike, there are some other main reasons why UK pikers use deadbaits far more than the Sweds, there are some restrictions on live bait fishing, in form of
1) antiangling groups
2) spread of disease
3) fishery rules
4) availability
Dead baits catch big pike yes!!! but what a borring way to fish!!!
A very slow float trolled live bait takes some beating, and big lures well they are the ultimate rush an high, in fact once you have had a big pike say over 15lb hit a lure hard an i mean hard!!! theres know looking back, its often brutal, the rod can often feel like its being ripped out your hands!!! you have a box of lures, rod an reel, your ready!!!! eny time!! know messing around with a load of stinking sea fish, an comlicated rigs, an sitting behind the rods an waiting for the pike to maybe come to you!!! Its just not my cup of tea!!! but know disrespect to eny one who enjoys it!!!!
