As most of you know i am one of those sad fishermen that lie in bed at night thinking about what piece of fishing equipment i can make next.
My next "Tackle Building Project" is to make a set of 5 or 6 rod buzz bars.
But i have been stopped in my tracks by a slight problem that no-one can answer!
Not even the most qualified of Astra Zeneca's engineers can answer this question.
Maybe someone on Fiskesnack can give me some answers?
As we know all backsticks, pods, buzzbars, rod rest heads, alarms etc that have a "Screw In thread" bolt are the same size/dimensions and interchange with each other.
But this is NOT a normal size/dimension that you would find in nuts & bolts in the shops.
Try it for yourself. Go and get any item of your fishing equipment with a "Screw In thread" and try and find a nut or bolt from your tool box or local shop that fits it.
I promise you that they wont.
Can anyone tell me the exact measurements/size/dimensions of the "Screw In thread" on fishing tackle?????
