Peter af Rolén, Zalt AB, vill att jag skulle posta detta mail från tillverkaren av Piketime då det skrivits en hel del om betet i forumet. Jag själv vet inget alls om betet i fråga så jag är neutral i frågan tills jag vet mer.
Ha gärna konkreta och sakliga diskussioner men tänk på vad ni skriver är ni snälla.

this is Jürgen Haese from Think Big in Germany. For those guys who don´t know us: We are responsible for the development and the production of Piketime products.
I´ve been informed that somebody is using this forum trying to give Piketime Jerkbaits a bad name. I don´t know if this happens because of a poor knowledge about Jerkbait fishing or if there might be other interests, maybe financial wise. I have to read that Piketime should be a copy of a Jerkbait produced by Jack Cobb. This is the first time that we hear this kind of argument although Jack knows our baits and although Piketime is distributed in the US with a big success as well. Until now everybody had realised the differences between a wooden bait and a plastic bait, a jerk with and without rattles, between two lures with different dimensions and with two absolutely different swimming actions. To be honest: We don´t feel explaining something obvious to somebody who might doesn´t want to understand. We accept it as an individual impression.
On the other hand we will not accept statements claiming that Piketime Jerkbaits are not produced in Germany with the only purpose to spoil the name of the product. At this time all Piketime Jerkbaits are produced and ever have been produced in Germany including the molding and the handcrafted airbrush. This is a fact. Eyes and split rings are served by US companies; hooks are delivered by VMC. Everybody who is stating that Piketime Jerkbaits are not produced in Germany while knowing at the same time that Piketime Jerkbaits are produced in Germany and everybody who is using this wrong statement only to give Piketime Jerks a bad name will face serious legal steps. We understand that sometimes it is tempting to use such lies especially when there are no real arguments. However it is not acceptable to spoil the reputation of a good product only because it is a competitive product.
I´am sorry to disturb you guys with such a topic that has been brought up by individuals with different interests.
