Daiwa Prorex AGS -120 gr. - questions

I have now used the Prorex AGS 120 gr. with a Tatula 200TWS for 3 months, and couldnt be happier about it.
Its a very fast and sensitive rod. I can feel when i hit even the slightest weed, and the strikes from pikes feels like an Electric impulse in your arm vs. the Westin W4 rod i used before. I really think u get alot of value for your money with the AGS rod.

I'm using the same setup as you and I fully agree, the combo is pure awesomeness. The best thing about it is probably the weight though, it's so nice fishing for several hours without feeling unease in your arms/wrists or shoulders/back. The sensitivity is also very nice, the tiniest of grass will let you know what's going on and when the pike strikes it let's you know instantly, full on hook-up!

I totally agree. The low weight is especially impressive when considering the rod Can cast up to 130 gr. at least! Sweetspot is in my opinion at around 90 gr. though, but Im casting 50 gr. jerkbaits a very long way on this setup to and dont feel Underloaded at all.
Its a very versatile setup and i find im only using this setup from 40-140 gr. unless when fishing heavy wooden glide-jerkbaits, where i prefer a shorter rod.

The strikes are just so much more fun on this rod, even vs. my rods from 20-90 gr. and in between!
