Daiwa Prorex-spön

Im looking for a rod that Can handle jigs (including jiggskallar) that weighs between 20-45 gr., but its mostly gonna be used With 25-35 gr.
I love all my other Prorex AGS rods, so im tempted to buy the 7-32 baitcast version. I heard that rod is pretty underclassified, so do you guys who owns the rod Think it would work?

I have the 7-32g AGS rod, I have not tried all the way up to 45, but I have used it up to 32g (shadteez slim 14cm + 15g head) with absolutely no issue.
If I remember I can try some heavier weights and report back here!

On a side note, I love this rod for jigging zander! it is quite stiff and the feeling in the strikes are amazing, but it is still surprisingly flexible when fighting the fish!

I bought the rod and already used it alot.
In my opinion its a fantastic rod. Very sensitive for its casting weight.
I paired it With a Revo Mgextreme2, and although the reel is a bit underpowered for what i use it for, the balance and overall weight on the set is just awesome.

I Think the rod is a bit underloaded when casting a 9,5 cm Bullteez With a 15 gr. skallar (22 gr. total weight), but it works and its awesome With 20-25 gr. skallar.
Bottom contact With light jigheads aint a problem though, its just the casting part that could be better.
For a lighter bottomjigging gösspö its pretty perfect in my opinion.

I have also used it for pelagic casting-sharpshooting (kasteprick) With 25 gr. heads and 20 gr. jigs, and thats works just fine. I dont need megalong casts on that method, so i can use a 15 cm Pig shad With a 5 gr. and have decent control and distance, but also a 25 gr. head without overloading the rod.
Most important it seems to hook into even bigger Zander (and pike)very nice.

I want to buy a Prorex AGS 5-25 gr. haspelspö for jigging Perch, but im a bit confused about the 4 different lengths the rod is available in.
Are the action on all 4 lengths the same?

Någon som vet hur det ser ut med tillgång till spötoppar till Prorex XR: PXX802MLFS-BS?
Det är klassat till 5-25g, nya generationen är klassat till 5-28g om jag minns rätt.
Är det kanske så att det är samma spö fast uppklassat 3g?
Vet någon isf om nya generationen passar till gamla?, dvs förra generationens under del passar ihop till 100% med nya generationens topp del mekaniskt/montage mässigt.

Det blev knäckt en bit under dom 2 övre ögglorna i själva stommen. Nja vill nog hellre ha en olagad hel topp sektion, inte heller nån toppsektion som inverkar negativt på spöts känsla som helhet (om man ex tar topp sektion från nått annat och trycker dit).
Där av frågan om den nyare varianten (årets upplaga?) som har 3g högre klassning - om det är samma fast blivit uppklassat.

What I have understood is that;

If the name has F = fast, the rod is type “fast action”, R = Regular is more like “slow action”.
Letter H stands for Heavy, L for Light.
(-BS is just product information for the seller from the manufacturer, so this code has no difference for the end consumer).

MLFS-BS = Medium Light Fast Spinning
MLRS-BS = Medium Light Regular Spinning
MLRB-BS = Medium Light Regular Baitcast


Regarding the spinning (haspel) version om 5-25g, I would recommend you to go with a MLFS classification for jigging.
In other words; PXAGS692MLFS-BS, PXAGS732MLFS-BS or PXAGS772MLFS-BS. Choose the length that suits you.

Im not 100% sure - but I think that the length och the back-handle differ a bit between those models, besides the overall length (and the weight).

The PXAGS702MLRS-BS 5-25g model is named "universal" on their website. It has a regular, slower action and in my opinion for jigging the fast action is more suited.

I have PXAGS732MLFS-BS 5-25g (spinning) for jigging, and PXAGS702MLRB-BS 5-25g (baitcast) for cranks etc. I love them both!

Är det någon som äger själv ett sånt spö och kan dela med sig lite mera info än vad man får läsa om på nätet,
I första hand undrar jag om längden på handtaget, om det är lite för långt som på de flesta Prorex spöna eller lagom så att den inte fastnar i fickan på fiskeväst vid mothugg. Sen lite om aktionen skulle jag uppskatta lite mer info med tanke på viktklassningen och själva längden på spöet. Själv uppfattar jag detta spö som ett renodlat regnbågesspö eller lättHÖ-spö dvs.tillräckligt lång och lagom mjukt eller vad tror ni som redan har ett sånt i sin arsenal?

Tragiskt nog har jag en spricka på mitt Daiwa AGS spö , underdelen. ( PX AGS 772HFB-AS). Finns det någon som har över så köper jag gärna. Kollat med den lokala fiskebutiken och det gick inte att få tag på längre tyvärr.
Uppskattar om någon kan/vill hjälpa mig.
