Tja and hello from Germany!
Jag heter Christian, jag kommer fran berlin... So far so good.. i'll try the rest in english. Hope it is ok
I'll spend the next week near Stockholm in Nacka/Boo. I'd be glad if there's someone who could give me some infos about promising perch waters.
The last two years i've been in Sweden in August, but i've never been there in April. So I don't know how to get some abborre out of the water. In August I tried my best in Gustavsberg Hamn. It was quite successful.
I'm looking for your help.
Stort tack på förhand :appl:
Hi Christian, I used to live in Boo and have done some fishing in the area. I would recommend that you try the lakes, Sågsjön and Insjön. I´ve had quite successful perch fishing in Sågsjön especially, but Insjön are also rumored to have large specimens. Both are easily accessible from land.
If you have a boat you could try Baggensfjärden, a large bay in the archipelago.
As for methods, the most efficient way to catch large perch in april are propably angling with live roach or other small baitfish, but earthworms can also be deadly...
And lures such as jigs or spinners, does offcourse work as well.
Use a wire leader, there are lots of pike in the water.
Hope you enjoy your stay, and as we say in Sweden: Skitfiske... :sun:

Hey Mattias, thanks for your informations! Sounds promising :) But before testing my fishing skills, I need your help again. I tried my best, but I didn't go through the web.. Where can I get the "Fiskekort" for these lakes?
Thanks, Christian
Christian, Sågsjön has free fishing with rod and line, Insjön does not provide any fishing llcense as far as I know and Baggensfjärden is also free fishing in the fria handredskapsfisket.
No license is required for Sågsjön. More info can be found on Nackas official website, particulary on this adress: http://www.nacka.se/web/fritid_natur/friluftslivochmotion/aktiviteter/fiske/Sidor/default.aspx
The info are in Swedish unfortunately.
I did some checking around, and Insjön seems more difficult, I don´t know how you go about acquiring a fishing license for that lake... My previous fishing might actually have been illegal, thanks for opening my eyes on that fact..
So try Sågsjön or the baltic where fishing is guaranteed to be free.

Thanks again :appl:
Sågsjön would get a visit :) Where should I bath my first lures? I know that the southern bank is falls away sharply (Next to Värdmövägen). So there it would not be the easiest way of fishing.
Neglingeviken and vårgärdsjön seem to be interesting. Can you tell me something about the regulations? Are they also free for fishing?
Is Baggensfjärden the bay beside neglingeviken?
Nice Sunday, and thanks for your help

I would suggest that you try the opposite side of Sågsjön where I believe there are a public beach, or the narrow sound which divides the two sides of the lake, take a peak at this map: http://kartor.eniro.se/query?mop=aq&mapstate=7%3B18.28734%3B59.33981%3Bs%3B18.27877%3B 59.34383%3B18.29590%3B59.33580%3B620%3B548%3B0%3B1&mapcomp=%3B%3B%3BS%E5gsj%F6n%3B%3B%3B13239%3BSALTS J%D6-BOO%3B%3B%3B%3B%3B18.280946640145835%3B59.34153661 9998045%3B0%3B0%3B%3BNACKA%3Bmaps_place.51728.21%3 B0&what=map_adr&searchInMap=1&geo_area=S%E5gsj%F6n%2C%20NACKA&stq=0&pis=0
There are fishable places on both sides of the sound, but it requires a short walk through the woods.
Regarding neglingeviken and vårgärdsjön I don't know much. But no license should be needed for neglingeviken, since it seem to be connected to the sea.
And by the way, this part of Nacka is renowned for great sea-trout fishing.... So you might get a nice bonus.

Hello everybody, I'm now in Nacka and I nearly tried everything to find some perch. I've been in Trosa, on the Sangsjön, in Gustavsberg, Nacka Strand,.. But I didn't get a least a bite.
Are the perch spawning oder in which depth should I search them?
What's about Gädda? Aren't they hungry?
I'm now leaving for the next try :) I'll be happy about any tip

Perch is easier to catch during the summer... But pike/gädda shouldn´t be to hard. Did you go to Källtorpssjön as well? Maybe not the best lake around Sthlm, but there are a couple of spots I´d like to try myself.
Have you been in touch with Eniro.se? Great site, click on "Kartor", enter the name of lake you´re looking for, and then click "Utsikt". Then you´ll have a big photo of the place, and then you can look out for promising spots on your own... Otherwise, send me a PM and I´ll show you where you might catch a pike or two.
Cheers
